Yolo County hosts a Food Vendor workshop

The February 2026 issue of NEHA’s Journal of Environmental Health featured a mentee-turned-mentor’s story from the NEHA-FDA Retail Flexible Funding Model Grant Program’s mentorship program managed by NACCHO. The 2025 site visit by the mentor (Yolo County, CA) with their mentee (Humboldt County) featured a food vendor workshop that was also covered by the local news station!

See how Yolo County encouraged Humboldt County to implement the Retail Program Standards in a way that worked best for them.
