In honor of National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on April 10th, NACCHO is highlighting organizations that help address HIV and health inequities among youth.
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the voice of the country’s over 3,300 local health departments, will hold the 2024 Preparedness Summit from March 25-28, 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio.
NACCHO is pleased to announce that 16 agencies from across the United States have been recognized by NACCHO’s Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) for their ability to plan for, respond to, and recover from public health emergencies.
NACCHO has awarded nearly $350,000 in funding to seven Overdose Response Strategy (ORS) pilot projects to help address the overdose crisis in their communities.
World AIDS day is recognized on December 1st each year to support those living with and affected by HIV, and remember those who have died from HIV-related illnesses.
