For those ready to apply quality improvement (QI) to agency functions, this resource provides an excellent example of a QI process, from beginning to end. The Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) used several QI tools and techniques ( 5 Whys, Pareto Chart, Process Mapping, flow chart, data chart, and Root Cause Analysis) to improve the documentation process of staff trainings. As a result of this project, the process now accurately documents an increased number of trainings and leadership development activities.
