For those ready to apply quality improvement (QI) to agency functions, this resource provides an example of a QI process from beginning to end. This case example show how the Osceola County Health Department (OsCHD) used QI techniques, such as a Fishbone Diagram and Force Field Analysis, to improve workforce competencies by enhancing the Department's program of continuing education for staff. As a result, OsCHD staff increased their public health skills and knowledge.
