This 90-minute webinar will discuss how local health departments can use HP2020 as they prepare for Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation. The webinar will provide an overview of HP2020, from CDC OSTLTS staff and feature representatives from two local health departments with experience preparing for Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation and incorporating Healthy People activities into their work.
CDC staff will introduce HP2020 and describe its potential uses for accreditation preparation and other performance improvement initiatives. Representatives from Gallatin City-County Health Department (MT) will describe how their agencies have used Healthy People 2020 to guide their community health improvement planning processes and how the Healthy People 2020 objectives and targets have been used across their agency accreditation efforts. There will be a question-and-answer session at the end of the webinar.
