National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day is around the corner on October 15th. A variety of social media resources are available from the CDC in English and Spanish to share important HIV prevention content to your communities. In addition, CDC’s Let’s Stop HIV Together Campaign recently updated its Spanish campaign site, Detengamos Juntos el VIH, with new Spanish resources, a service locator, and a searchable database of campaign resources.
A sample of the new resources include:
• Spanish social media toolkit with English instructions
• Spanish social media toolkit with Spanish instructions
• Spanish HIV Prevention Services Locator
• Spanish videos about testing, treatment, prevention and stigma
The national campaign includes information on HIV testing, treatment, prevention, and stigma and our Spanish-language products are not simply translated from English but are created or transcreated in Spanish by a bilingual, bicultural team.
