National HIV Testing Week US (NHTWUS), which will take place June 21-27, 2019, is a commitment to building a network of community partners to help more individuals become aware of their HIV status and to encourage those who know their HIV status and are not in care to start a discussion with a healthcare provider about treatment.
A united effort during NHTWUS will be instrumental in increasing awareness and access to HIV testing, care, and supportive services. Individuals and communities will receive information on NHTWUS, and tools to engage in actions that ultimately promote community involvement and local “End the Epidemic” goals. The new NHTWUS website, www.testingweek.org, lists various HIV testing locations and events across the nation. Visit this site to learn more about events in your area throughout the week.
