National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) is observed each year on October 15 to increase awareness of the impact of HIV on the Hispanic/Latino population in the United States.
The National Council for Behavioral Health (National Council), with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is soliciting applications for rapid response grant funding to support innovative harm reduction strategies and services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Department of Justice and CDC are collaborating to strengthen partnerships between public health and public safety and to learn about existing harm reduction efforts. They plan to convene practitioners working on the ground to learn more about harm reduction successes, challenges, and needs.
