With funding from CDC, NACCHO will award up to $50,000 for a consultant, or consulting firm, to support NACCHO and its partners with the development of a train-the-trainer curriculum to prepare LHD staff to implement Project Firstline training in their community’s healthcare facilities.
NACCHO is looking to expand the Maternal-Child, Infectious Disease, and Preparedness (MIP) Collaborative Workgroup, which was formed two years ago to support public health and clinical care partnerships at the local level to increase local jurisdictions’ ability to protect, respond to, and support pregnant people and their infants from emerging threats.
At the end of the 2020-2021 Immunization Workgroup year, the members reflected and identified key lessons learned through the COVID-19 response. Those lessons learned are highlighted below. We hope these lessons will help inform and guide any future public health emergencies, particularly those requiring vaccinations.
