This Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) outlines the adult hepatitis vaccine project conducted in California in 2007-2008. $20 million of federal funds were used to buy the adult hepatitis B vaccine. As a result of this funding California created the Adult Hepatitis Vaccine Project (AHVP). This MMWR outlines the project and its results.
