The Hepatitis B Resource guide is a 52 page document created from the Hep B Free Los Angeles and Hep B Free Orange County Initiative, in partnership with members of the Los Angeles County Hepatitis B Coalition and Orange County Hepatitis B Coalition. The Guide includes resources from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Asian Liver Center at Stanford University. Given that the AAPI community has the highest risk of being chronically infected with Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) (AAPI rates for HBV infection are 20 times higher than the general population) this resource guide is an important educational tool that can be used to reach the AAPI community and use as a platform for reaching out to other adult populations at risk for HBV.
