To ensure streamlined and standardized processes were followed during the collection of specimens during an MDRO outbreak investigation, FL DOH-Orange created Facility Laboratory Collection Guidance outlining the type of PPE needed for specimen collection, supplies needed, and the process for collection. These were used in conjunction with other materials developed as part of a containment toolkit.
