The Immunization Action Coalition created a one page template local health departments can use to establish Standing Orders for Adult Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) Vaccination. This form will enable eligible nurses and other healthcare professionals (e.g., pharmacists) to vaccinate adults against HBV in the absence of a physician.
