In the Spotlight
ProfileLogoFinal

The 2008 National Profile of Local Health Departments study, a comprehensive look at local health department infrastructure and practice, will be launched in July 2008. Data are used for local and regional comparisons, for policy-making and advocacy, for workforce education about local public health practice, and for research. In 2005, the Profile reported a response rate of 80% of all LHDs. The Profile study team looks forward to another successful collaboration with all LHDs for the 2008 study. If you would like more information, please contact Barbara Laymon, MPH, Program Manager at (202) 507-4240 or by e-mail at blaymon@naccho.org. More »
