The Wayne Minority Health Program is a community outreach program "that raises awareness of existing health disparities and inequalities among minority residents of Wayne County and finds ways to effectively address and eliminate them through collaboration, education, outreach, and advocacy." Working closely with community- and faith-based organizations and school districts, the Wayne Minority Health Program uses collaboration and creativity to develop community-focused programs and projects tailored to fit the needs of participants.
