Take Care New York is a comprehensive health policy agenda. It focuses on reducing health disparities, improving access to high-quality, prevention-oriented health care, and making all New York City neighborhoods healthy and safe places. The initiative employs a comprehensive, three-pronged approach consisting of policy, access to quality health care including preventive care, and health promotion. The initiative prioritizes the top ten public health areas for all New Yorkers and establishes indicators and targets for tracking change within each priority area.
